Why is my Facet bill this amount?

What goes into your Facet invoice, how it differs from the fees on your own sales, and where to see the real numbers.

Your Facet invoice is your plan price plus any add-ons and tax, in the currency and interval you chose at checkout. Fees on your own sales come out of those sales, not this invoice.

To check what you're paying:

  1. Open Settings, then Billing.
  2. Select Manage Subscription to see each actual invoice in Stripe's billing page.
  3. Check the add-ons you've added: Storage add-ons, Email send packs and More video storage. Each is billed on top of your plan.
  4. On a plan with native video, check When you reach your included minutes. With Keep videos playing and bill me our video host's cost for the extra chosen, the extra is added to your next invoice on a monthly plan, or billed separately each month on an annual plan.

Your plan's own price:

  • Annual billing is one yearly payment costing ten monthly payments.
  • Your subscription keeps the price and currency agreed at checkout. Compare Plans shows today's list prices, which can differ.

Separate from this invoice, every sale you make pays Stripe's processing fee, and on Studio, Facet's 3% platform fee, capped each calendar month at US$99 or about the same in your currency. Creator has no platform fee. These come out of your sales before your payout and appear in Money overview.

If this didn't work

  • The invoice is higher than the plan price: look for add-ons, tax, or extra video watching you agreed to pay for.
  • You expected a different currency: billing currency is set at checkout, not by your site language.

Native video includes 5,000 watched minutes a month on Studio and 15,000 on Creator. Unless you chose to keep videos playing, new playback pauses at the allowance until the month resets, with no extra charge. YouTube, Vimeo and Loom embeds never count.
