Import my work from another platform
Bring subscribers, students, courses and posts into Facet with a preview first, a report after, and a one-step roll back.
Open Import your work, preview the file first, then import it; every import is saved in Import history with its report and can be rolled back.
- Open Settings, then Import your work.
- Under Switching from another platform?, pick Your old platform to see which files to download and where to find them.
- Choose what to import: Subscribers, Course, Enrollments or Posts, then pick where it's Coming from.
- Upload the Export file and select Preview (nothing is written). Read What will happen (preview), including skipped rows and anyone who stays unsubscribed.
- Select Import now. Imported posts and courses land as drafts.
- In Import history, open Import report on any import to see its results again. A posts import also offers its redirect map there: Download redirect map (CSV) or Add as redirects.
- Work through After you import: publish the drafts, check video statuses and set up redirects.
If this didn't work
- The import seems to hang or the page timed out: select Check import status before uploading the file again. A missing report is not proof the import worked.
- Rows were skipped as Skipped (plan cap): your plan's subscriber limit was reached. Compare plans in Billing, or trim the list.
Roll back deletes only the records that import created. Records it updated stay as they are, and tags it added are kept. Passwords, saved payment methods, learning progress, comments and subscriptions on your old platform don't transfer. Upload files can be up to 25 MB.
