Give someone free access
Comp a member onto a tier for a number of months, or grant one course or item free of charge.
Open the member's detail in Members: Comp access gives them a tier for a set number of months, and the access check can grant a single item for free.
To comp a tier:
- In Members, search for the member and click the open button at the end of their row.
- Under Comp access, choose the Tier and enter the Months (1 to 24).
- Click Grant. The time is added to any time they already have; it never replaces it.
To give one course, post or coaching package:
- In the same Member detail, search for the item under Access check.
- If the result is No access, click Grant access (free of charge), then Grant access. This creates a free purchase they keep permanently.
If this didn't work
- The grant button isn't there. Content for paying members is unlocked by a tier, so use Comp access instead. Content for registered members needs a verified, active account, so use Resend verification or Reactivate.
- They still can't see it. Ask them to sign out and log in again so their access refreshes.
Facet doesn't email the member when you comp them, so tell them yourself. Only people who can manage members see these controls, and tier comps are recorded in your audit log.
