Moderate your community
Hide, delete or restore community posts and replies, and set up points and levels.
Community posts and replies are moderated in Community > Moderation, where nothing is ever erased: hidden and deleted posts can be restored.
- Open Moderation.
- Use Filter by status to show Published, Hidden or Deleted posts.
- Click Hide on a post or reply to take it off the community. Click Restore to bring it back.
- Click Delete to move it to Deleted. A message offers Undo, and you can restore it later from the Deleted filter.
- To act on several posts at once, click Select, tick them, then choose Hide, Restore or delete.
- To stop someone posting, open their Member detail in Members and click Suspend. They are signed out and blocked until you reactivate them.
If this didn't work
- A post you expect isn't in the list. A status filter is on; click Clear filter.
- Members don't see points or levels. Open Gamification and turn on Enable gamification.
Gamification gives members points for taking part: 2 for a post, 1 for a reply and 1 for each reaction they receive. Under Level ladder you name each level and set the points to reach it; a space can require a level under Required level. Adjust a member's points grants or deducts points by hand, and every change is recorded. When gamification is off, members see no points or levels, level-gated spaces open up, and points keep adding up quietly.
