Sell a course

Connect Stripe, set the course to People who bought it, add a price and publish. Payments go to your own Stripe account.

Connect your Stripe account, then set the course's Who can open it to People who bought it and give it a price. Buyers pay through Stripe straight into your account.

  1. Open Stripe Connect and finish connecting your Stripe account.
  2. Open the course and go to the Price tab.
  3. Under Who can open it, choose People who bought it.
  4. Enter the Price and currency.
  5. Optional: open More pricing options to add prices in other currencies, turn Allow Buy Now Pay Later on or off, or offer a Payment plan (monthly installments) of 3, 4, 6 or 12 payments.
  6. Use Preview as to check what a signed-out visitor and a buyer see, then click Publish.

Turn on Free Preview under a lesson's More lesson options to let people try it before they buy. Explain how long buyers keep access before they pay, and honour the terms you offered: a one-time payment doesn't set an access period by itself. Changing the price later does not change existing purchases or rights.

If this didn't work

  • People who bought it says "connect Stripe first": finish Stripe Connect, then click Check again on the Price tab.
  • A buyer paid but can't open the course: open Members, find them by the email they paid with, and use Access check in their details before asking them to pay again.

Studio adds a 3% platform fee on sales, capped each month. Creator has no platform fee. Stripe's own fees apply on both.
