Write and publish a post
Create a post, add a cover image, tags and access settings, then save it as a draft or publish it.
Start a post from Content > Posts: it begins as a draft, and nothing goes live until you select Publish.

- Open Content, then Posts, and start a new post (or choose New post in Quick create).
- Enter a Title and write in Content. The link slug is filled in from the title.
- Optional: add a Cover image, an Excerpt for feeds and previews, and Tags.
- Under Access, choose who can find and open the post.
- To schedule it, set Publish status to Scheduled and pick a Goes live on date.
- Select Save draft to keep it private, or Publish to make it live.
To change a live post, edit it and select Publish changes. Unpublish and return to draft takes it down. Preview as… under More actions shows it the way a visitor or member sees it.
If this didn't work
- My post isn't on my homepage: check it's published, then check the Posts section in Site Studio under Homepage sections. Feature this post highlights it on your homepage and in lists.
- The editor says "Slug is required" or the slug is taken: each post needs its own slug. Change the title or edit the slug.
Paid and members-only posts need Studio or Creator. Posts appear on a Facet only when you add them to it, under Facet memberships in the editor or in the Facet's sections.
