Fill my portfolio from my resume or a GitHub repository

Upload a PDF or DOCX resume to pull in your experience and skills, or turn a GitHub repository into a project.

Open Import & AI: upload your resume and AI pulls out your experience, education, skills, projects and more, or import a GitHub repository as a project.

  1. Open Content, then Import & AI.
  2. Under Upload Resume, choose a PDF or DOCX file up to 5MB.
  3. Choose the Import visibility. Private is recommended: private items show on a Facet only when you add them to it.
  4. Select Upload & Parse. Facet lists what it imported and skips anything already in your profile.
  5. For a project, go to Import from GitHub, enter the Repository URL or owner/repo (add a GitHub Token for a private repo), and select Fetch Repository.
  6. Check the Repository Preview, optionally Enable AI enrichment, then select Review & Import and review the proposal before it's saved.

If this didn't work

  • "AI credit limit reached": this month's AI credits are used up. Add your own AI key in AI Providers, or wait for credits to reset on the 1st.
  • The resume upload timed out or came back incomplete: try again, or try a shorter, simpler resume file.

Resume parsing and AI enrichment use your monthly AI credits. Under README Privacy you can choose how much of a repository's README is sent to the AI provider. To move subscribers, courses or posts from another platform, use Import your work in Settings instead.
