Reward members and partners who send buyers
Run a member referral program, or invite affiliates and pay them a commission on the sales they bring in.
Referrals reward your own members for bringing in new subscribers; Affiliates pays outside partners a commission on sales from their links.
To run a member referral program:
- Open Monetize, then Referrals.
- Tick Enable the referral program.
- Choose a Reward model: Give-and-get discount gives the member and their friend a one-time discount, valid for 90 days; Cash commission credits the member a percentage of the friend's first payment.
- Set the Reward rate (%) and select Save settings.
Members find their share link on their member dashboard. The Referrer leaderboard shows who referred whom, who subscribed, and earnings.
To invite an affiliate:
- Open Monetize, then Affiliates.
- Under Invite an affiliate, enter their Email, an optional Name and a Commission rate (%), then select Send invite. They get their share link and a private stats link.
- Under Conversions, select Approve to owe a commission or Reverse to cancel it. Refunds reverse commissions automatically.
- Approved commissions can be paid 30 days after the sale. Select Configure payout to record their payout details, then Export payout CSV.
- Pay them yourself, then select Mark approved as paid.
If this didn't work
- A commission is lower than the rate you set: rates are a ceiling, capped at 87%, and Facet reduces a commission when needed to cover processing and platform fees.
- An affiliate can't be paid yet: their payout evidence is missing, or the 30-day hold hasn't passed.
You pay cash commissions and affiliates yourself; Facet tracks what's owed but doesn't send the money. For subscriptions, commissions count the first payment only.
