Move from Ghost
Import your Ghost content .json as posts and your members export as subscribers.
Export your content and your members from Ghost Admin, then import the posts first and the members second.
- In Ghost Admin, open Settings, find Import/Export, and export your content as a .json file.
- In Ghost Admin, open Members, then the settings menu, and choose Export all members.
- In Facet, open Settings, then Import your work, and pick Ghost under Switching from another platform?
- Select Import posts, enter Your old site's address, upload the .json, select Preview (nothing is written), then Import now.
- Select Import subscribers, upload the members CSV, preview, then Import now.
If this didn't work
- Images didn't come over: Ghost's export links images without naming the site, so Facet needs Your old site's address. Keep your Ghost site online, enter its address and import again.
- Some posts stay private: posts for specific tiers stay private until you choose their tier here. Set it before publishing.
Members-only posts need a sign-in and paid posts stay for paying members. Drafts and scheduled posts land as drafts. Ghost labels become tags, and people who turned off emails stay unsubscribed.
