Get started with my site
Pick your goal on the dashboard, follow the Site Setup steps, then add your first content and publish.
Start on your dashboard: tell Facet what you're here to do, then work through the Site Setup steps it gives you.
- Open Dashboard. Under What are you here to do?, choose a goal, such as Show my work or Sell courses. You can change it any time with Change your goal.
- Work through Site Setup. The steps follow your goal and tick off as you finish them.
- Open Homepage to reach Site Studio. Fill in your name, headline and summary under Identity and choose a Look under Design.
- Add your first piece of work: a post from Content, or a project or experience entry from Profile.
- In Site Studio, choose Preview changes, then Publish changes when it looks right.
The section pages each gather related tools: Content for what you publish, Profile for your portfolio, People for your audience, Monetize for getting paid and Settings for your site, domain and account.
If this didn't work
- My changes don't show on my site: Site Studio keeps your edits as a draft until you choose Publish changes, and new posts and projects start as drafts until you select Publish.
- A setup step stays unticked: open it from the list and finish it there. Selling steps, like connecting Stripe, need Studio or Creator, so on Portfolio you see Upgrade to Studio to sell instead.
