Add a tracking pixel, chat widget or other script

Paste trusted vendor code into Head HTML or Body-end HTML in Site Settings; it runs on your public pages.

Paste the vendor's code into Custom scripts & integrations in Site Settings: Head HTML for code that belongs in the page head, Body-end HTML for visible widgets.

Open Settings, then Site Settings, and find Custom scripts & integrations.
If the vendor says to install the code in the head (analytics like Plausible, pixels, verification tags), paste their full script tag into Head HTML.
For chat widgets, email sign-up forms and other embeds that show on the page, paste the code into Body-end HTML.
If an ad network gave you lines for /ads.txt, paste them into the ads.txt field. Facet serves them at /ads.txt on your site.
Click outside the box to save, then open your public site in a private window to check it.

Snippets run only for signed-out visitors on public pages. They never run in your admin, member accounts, sign-in pages, private share links or checkout. Paste only code from a vendor you trust: scripts can read and change your public pages.

If this didn't work

I don't see Custom scripts & integrations: only the site owner sees it, and it needs Studio or Creator. After a downgrade to Portfolio your saved code is kept but stops running.
/ads.txt returns "not found": an empty ads.txt field returns 404 on purpose. Add your lines. On Creator with a custom domain, an AdSense Publisher ID under Ads on your site adds Google's line for you.

For standard Google Analytics, use the GA4 Measurement ID field under Analytics instead, on any plan.
