Create a Facet

Make a version of your site for one audience, with its own link, headline and sections.

A Facet is a version of you for one audience, like recruiters or clients: name it, then choose the sections it shows. It stays a draft, visible only to you, until you publish it.

  1. Open Facets and select + New Facet (or New Facet in Quick create).
  2. Enter a Name (only you see it) and pick the Facet type: Standard, Funnel or Members. Select Create Facet.
  3. The Facet editor opens on Content with Add section showing. Add the sections this audience should see, pick the items for each, and drag to set the order. Every change saves as you go.
  4. Optionally, under Appearance, give this audience its own headline, summary or location. Empty fields use your profile.
  5. When it's ready, open Access and set Publish status to Published. A message confirms it's live, with View and Copy link.

The Facet's link comes from its name. To change it, edit the URL Slug under Access.

If this didn't work

  • A section shows on the editor but is empty on the live Facet: on a Facet, a section with no items selected is hidden. Open the section and select the items it should show.
  • "You've reached your plan's limit": delete a Facet you no longer need, or select See plans to upgrade. Your name stays in the box.
  • The link has a number on the end: another Facet already uses that link. Change the URL Slug under Access.

Portfolio includes up to 50 Facets, Studio up to 100, and Creator has no limit. To hide a Facet or protect it with a password or share link, see the Access settings in the editor.
