Connect Stripe so I can get paid
Link your own Stripe account so buyers can pay you for courses, content, downloads and memberships.
Open Stripe Connect, link your Stripe account, and finish every step Stripe asks for until the status reads Active.
- Open Monetize, then Stripe Connect.
- Select Connect Stripe Account. Stripe opens so you can create a new account or sign in to one you already have.
- Complete every requirement Stripe shows, then come back to Facet.
- Select Check Status. While the status is Pending Verification, select Complete Setup to carry on where you left off.
- When the status reads Active, buyers can pay you. Stripe Dashboard opens your account on Stripe.
Already selling memberships through your own Stripe account? Under Bring your existing Stripe subscriptions, choose Connect existing Stripe account, then Load subscriptions from Stripe and adopt them, so members keep paying as they do today.
If this didn't work
- The status says Restricted or Action Required: Stripe needs more information. Select Complete Verification and finish the items Stripe lists.
- Facet asks you to confirm it's you: changing payout settings needs your password, or your second factor when the site requires two-factor sign-in. Set that up under Settings, then Security.
Connecting makes you the merchant of record for your own sales. Stripe's processing fee applies to each payment; on Studio, Facet's platform fee also applies. Stripe Connect is on Studio and Creator.
