What we pledge
Prices move only with inflation
We raise a plan's price only to keep up with inflation, never to improve margins, and at most once a year. A rise is never larger than the increase in your currency's national consumer price index since our last change, and it is rounded down.
60 days' notice and a free exit
You hear from us by email at least 60 days ahead, with the old and new price and the index figure behind it. The new price starts at your first renewal on or after that date, so annual plans keep their price until they renew. Cancel or switch plans for free before then.
Email on every plan
Newsletter tools ship on every plan. Subscriber and send limits are plain published numbers on the pricing page, with no hidden multipliers or counting games. Need more sends? Add 25,000 a month for US$15 instead of changing plans.
Fees with a ceiling
Creator takes 0% of your content sales. Studio takes 3%, capped at a published monthly maximum. Selling starts on Studio; Portfolio is the build-your-audience tier. The full fee table lives on the pricing page, in your currency.
That's the whole pledge. We'd rather promise exactly what we can keep than write a check the infrastructure bill can't cash.
The inflation rule, in full
- At most one price change a year.
- Never more than the rise in your currency's national consumer price index since our last change, and only once that rise reaches 5%.
- Rounded down to a clean price, never up.
- At least 60 days' notice by email, with the index figure and where it comes from.
- The new price starts at your first renewal on or after the date in the notice. Annual plans keep their price until they renew, and you can cancel or switch for free before then.
- Founding and other locked prices are exempt.
- Sales fees never change with inflation.
The indexes we use: the US Bureau of Labor Statistics CPI for US dollars, Eurostat's HICP for euros and Swiss francs, and the OECD consumer price index for other currencies. If there is no official index we can cite for a currency, its prices do not rise.
